I didn't use the real Synology MAC or Serial but they have been up for years all fine. When you select either a source or target server, the credentials are verified with the licensing server to ensure that no conflicts exist. For example, your existing camera channels can be moved from an old server to a newly acquired one. Your trailer didnt have/require a title so the registration is the title you transfer to the new owner. Sign the back over to him and he will get a new registration. You may have to manually define the cam storage volume (huge effort, takes seconds) but this does work and I have several HP Proliants running large cams counts effortlessly by this method. Synology Camera License Packs are designed for expanding cameras setup on the Synology Surveillance Station. I have bought a licence for the 3-rd cam which worked well on DS112 box. The Synology one-camera license pack allows you to add one camera to the Synology Surveillance station. Synology - QNAP & Buffalo NAS - ownCloud - Nextcloud - WD M圜loud - FreeNAS.
